Drill UK / Jobs
Legitimate work
The city hires. Everything below is real work with real tools and a real wage, run through the Job Centre in the city. Some of it you can start the minute you arrive; some of it you apply for and earn.
01 / Emergency services
Police and the NHS
The two careers with the most responsibility and the best stories. Police keep the city standing; NHS Ambulance crews save the people it falls on. Both recruit through an application at the Job Centre, both have their own communities, and both want calm people who can think under pressure. EMS are protected by the rules, so the work is about the job, not about being farmed. Fire and Rescue and a Law Firm round out the public services; their recruitment opens and closes with the city's need.

02 / Walk-up work
Turn up and start
More than thirty jobs need no application at all: pick one at the Job Centre board, press start, and go. Window cleaning, bin rounds, postal runs, the quarry, construction, farming, fishing, lumberjacking, road maintenance and plenty more. Steady pay, zero paperwork, and the fastest way to your first honest pound.
03 / Mechanics
Eleven garages
Car culture runs deep here, and eleven player-run garages keep it moving: Redline, Mosley's, LS Customs, Bennys, Phantom, Rideout Customs and more. Each hires through its own application and runs its own crew. If you like wrenching, tuning or just being around fast cars, this is the trade.

04 / Food, drink and nightlife
The social trades
The most social work in the city: street food stands, cafés like Central Perk and Leap Frog, Hogs Pub, and the clubs, Vanilla Unicorn, Up Turn, Cyber Bar. You meet the whole city on one shift. Player-owned, hiring through their own bosses, most with their own Discords linked on the Job Centre board.

05 / Studios and shops
The rest of the high street
Rockford Records and Ginga Jay Ent for studio life, sessions and signings. The Pawn Shop, where everything has a price. KhusBites for green-fingered retail. Smaller crews, distinct characters, proper regulars.
06 / How hiring works
One board, two routes
In the city, type/jobcentre or visit the Job Centre board. Walk-up work starts immediately with a waypoint. Careers and businesses take an application: answer a few questions and the recruiters see it. Police applications ask the most of you, deliberately.
